SAP Technical Academy Business Technology Platform (BTP)

SAP Technical Academy Business Technology Platform (BTP) gaat van start! Samen met SAP Nederland starten we op 10 januari met dit unieke trainingsprogramma van zes weken.

Iedere maandag komt er een nieuw onderwerp on-demand beschikbaar op het platform. Gedurende de week krijg je de kans om de content over dit onderwerp eigen te maken waarna je op donderdag tijdens de Q&A alle vragen over het onderwerp van die week kunt stellen. 

Je doet kennis op over de belangrijkste componenten van het SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) en de bijbehorende core services. Ook leer je hoe je een E2E safety incident managementapplicatie bouwt. Leerdoelen van deze SAP Technical Academy zijn:

* Architectuur van de Business Technology Platform services
* Hands-on kennismaking met de benodigde services om een applicatie te bouwen
* Je eindigt met een cloud-native applicatie, die je compleet zelf bouwt met de SAP Business Application Studio

Om de training te voltooien wordt een inspanning van 3 uur per week verwacht. De on-demand training is Engelstalig. Deze training is gratis, mis deze unieke kans dus niet.

Week 1 - 10 januari 
Cloud Application Programming (CAP) 
Q&A: 13 januari 2022, 16:00 - 17:00 CET

Expert 1 - Intro | Mat Beerkens, Technical Architect SAP
In this introduction of the Technical Academy, Mat will explain what the content of the Academy is, and what you can achieve in this course. There is a brief introduction to what strategic position the Business Technology Platform has in the intelligent enterprise."

Expert 2 - CAP | Ronald Kleijn, Technical Architect
Ronald will introduce you to the Cloud Application Programming Model. In the exercises you will model database artifacts and publish the services to expose OData.

Week 2 - 17 januari
Workflow Management (WFM)
Q&A: 20 januari 16:00 - 17:00 CET

Expert | Twan van den Broek, Customer Innovation Architect
In this section, you will be looking at the SAP Workflow Management service explained by Twan. This service lets you build, run, and manage workflows, from simple approvals to end-to-end processes that span across organisations and applications. You will build & deploy your own safety incident workflow.

Week 3 - 24 januari
Cloud Platform Integration (CPI)
Q&A: 27 januari,16:00 - 17:00 CET

Expert | Jan Penninkhof, Enterprise Architect
Jan will take you on a journey through SAP Integration Suite. The objective of this exercise is to integrate the CAP services with the Workflow service. To do this we will use the following SAP Business Technology Platform services: SAP Enterprise Messaging, SAP BTP - Serverless Runtime, SAP Integration Suite.

Week 4 - 31 januari 
Fiori - UI5
Q&A: 3 feb 16:00 - 17:00 CET

Expert | Cedric Verstraeten, Customer Solution Advisor
Cedric will give you an understanding about what SAP Fiori is. You will create your own SAPUI5 Worklist application to display the information.

Week 5 - 7 februari 
Conversational AI (CAI)
Q&A: 10 februari 16:00 - 17:00 CET

Expert | Kenneth Berckmoes, Technical Solution Advisor
Train, build, connect and monitor intelligent chatbots with SAP Conversational AI. Kenneth will guide you through this unit. You will create your own chatbot that will be consuming our backend services.

Week 6 - 14 februari 
SAP Mobile Services (MOB) & SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
Q&A: 17 februari 16:00 - 17:00 CET

Expert 1 | Mat Beerkens, Technical Architect
Roll up your sleeves and get ready to be mobile. Mat will explain what services SAP has related to Mobile. You will create a mobile application that will be connected to the OData backend created in the previous exercises. For this we will use SAP Mobile Services.

Expert 2 | Dirk Buitendijk, Customer Solution Advisor
Dirk will introduce you to the world of analytics in this unit about SAP Analytics Cloud. You are going to add some analytics on top of all what you have built so far using SAC.
